Caring for your favourite dresses
The best way to make clothes last is also the easiest: wash less, and wash gently.
Turn printed and dark garments inside out and wash cold. Heat fades colour and weakens fibres faster than anything else.
Skip the dryer for anything with stretch or embellishment. Dry flat or in shade, never in harsh direct sun.
Store delicate pieces on padded hangers and give them a little breathing room in the wardrobe. Crushed fabric creases and loses its drape.
